LG Twins manager Yoon Kyung-yeop pointed to the No. 9 spot in the lineup as a key to the success of the first game of fall baseball.

On Friday, Yoon announced his batting lineup for the first game of the semifinals against the KT Wiz at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, with Moon Sung-ju batting ninth.

“I was debating between batting Moon Sung-ju at No. 2 or No. 6, but after receiving recommendations from the power analysis team and hitting coach, who said, 'Why don't you bat her at No. 9,' I decided it was not a bad choice,” Yoon explained.

Dyeom, who is focused on putting as many runners on base as possible and generating “big innings” (scoring four or more runs in an inning), believes the batting order with Moon in the ninth spot will produce a lot of runs if it works well.

LG will face KT with the following batting order: 토토사이트 Hong Chang-ki (right fielder), Shin Min-jae (second baseman), Austin Dean (first baseman), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Oh Ji-hwan (shortstop), Kim Hyun-soo (designated hitter), Park Dong-won (catcher), Park Hae-min (center fielder), and Moon Sung-joo (left fielder).

Yeom, who aims to create a chain reaction with even performance from the top and bottom of the batting order, expects Austin and Moon to have more RBI opportunities if Park Hae-min and Moon Sung-joo do a good job of connecting with the top of the order.

“We'll make some adjustments to the No. 2 and No. 5-7 batting order in the semifinals,” Yeom added.

Closer Yoo Young-chan, who passed away earlier in the day, missed the first game of the semifinals, leaving hard-throwing pitcher Eliezer Hernandez to close the door.

“We'll try to keep his innings under two innings,” Yeom said, adding, ”Unlike last year, when we had seven middle relievers, in this year's postseason we have a weak bullpen, so we need our starters to go long.”

Yeom would only say that either Lim Chan-kyu or Choi Won-tae will start Game 2 of the semifinals on Saturday.
